When attempting to split partition of a table stored in ASSM tablespace, the following error occurs:
SQL> alter table t split partition p1000 at (3) into (partition p2, partition p1000);
ORA-04000: the sum of PCTUSED and PCTFREE cannot exceed 100
Table was created this way and the partition was added this way:
SQL> -- Create table works because we are on ASSM
SQL> create table t (a number, b number) pctfree 80 partition by range (a) ( partition p1 values less than (2) );
SQL> -- Partition add works
SQL> alter table t add partition p1000 values less than (1000);
