Symptoms
Updates to a Spatial table fail with the following errors:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [mdrcnccom()+2400] [SIGSEGV] [ADDR:0x170] [PC:0x10889E900] [Address not mapped to object] []
ORA-29877: failed in the execution of the ODCIINDEXUPDATE routine
ORA-13249: Stmt-Execute Failure: SELECT user_id FROM ALL_USERS WHERE USERNAME='<USERNAME>'
ORA-29400: data cartridge error
ORA-01013: user requested cancel of current operation
ORA-06512: at "MDSYS.SDO_INDEX_METHOD_10I", line 270
Than the instance crashes with the errors below:
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [17112], [0x47D5CB310], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
PMON (ospid: 1446): terminating the instance due to error 472
Instance terminated by PMON, pid = 1446
