ORA-28500 Error Message Is Suppressed for Sybase User Defined Errors When Calling a Stored Procedure (Doc ID 1077445.1)

Symptoms


You are using Oracle Server version: 11.1.0.7.0 on  Unix Server HP-UX Itanium 64 bit version 11.31 and Database Gateway for Sybase (DG4Sybase) Version: 11.1.0.7.0 on the Unix Server HP-UX Itanium 64 bit version 11.31.

When running a stored procedure that gets a user defined error  using  11g gateway the following error message is suppressed -

ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
[Database gateway for SYBASE]DRV_Execute:


The error message is NOT suppressed in an environment that uses 10g.
