Symptoms

Attempts to recompile the following INVALID objects fail with the same ORA-942 error:

   CTXSYS.DRICON
   CTXSYS.DRIIMP
   CTXSYS.DRIPREF
   CTXSYS.DRITHSC
   CTXSYS.DRITHSL
   CTXSYS.DRIUTL
   CTXSYS.DRIVAL
   CTXSYS.DRIXMD
   CTXSYS.DRVDOC
   CTXSYS.DRVUTL

SQL> show user
USER is "CTXSYS"

SQL> alter package CTXSYS.DRIUTL compile body;

Warning: Package Body altered with compilation errors.

SQL> show errors;
Errors for PACKAGE BODY CTXSYS.DRIUTL:

LINE/COL ERROR
-------- -----------------------------------------------------------------
296/3 PL/SQL: SQL Statement ignored
296/42 PL/SQL: ORA-00942: table or view does not exist
