Symptoms

We have now upgraded the database to 11.2.0.1, but after the upgrade we cannot connect with OID Users into the database due to the following error seen in alert logfile:

ORA-00600 internal error code, arguments: [kzldsearch], [RDBMS to LDAP characterset conversion failed]
Errors in file /usr/local/u01/diag/rdbms/orautv1/orautv1/trace/orautv1_ora_19214.trc (incident=79600):
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kzldsearch2], [RDBMS to LDAP characterset conversion failed], [], [], []
Incident details in: /usr/local/u01/diag/rdbms/orautv1/orautv1/incident/incdir_79600/orautv1_ora_19214_i79600.trc

Changes

Upgraded the databases to 11.2.0.1 or upgraded to Oracle 10.2.0.5 and applied the CPU January 2011 Patch Set and after which the OID authentication fails.
