Purpose


This document provides a quick reference explaining the following Health Check Alert:



Scope



Health Check 11056: Oracle RAC Database is running on a non-certified configuration

Description


This health check determines whether the Oracle RAC Database target is certified on the Platform it is currently running on.



Risk


The risk states something of the form "Oracle RAC Database <release number> is not certified on <platform name & version>". Running on a non-certified configuration might result in difficulties getting support from Oracle. Issues reported on non-certified configurations will not be fixed by Oracle. You could be required to reproduce any issues found in a certified environment to receive support.



Recommendation


The recommendation will advise you to move to a certified configuration and will provide a link to where you can view the list of certified platforms for your particular Oracle RAC Database release.
