ORA-600[kxsGetRuntimeLock2] Error Reported on 11g With ASMM Enabled (Doc ID 1097047.1)

Symptoms

The following error is seen in the alert log:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kxsGetRuntimeLock2]


The call stack can look like this:

kxsGetRuntimeLock kksfbc opiexe kpoal8 opiodr ttcpip ...


Automatic Shared Memory Management (ASMM) is enabled, but no minimum size is explicitly set for parameter shared_pool_size.

Flushing the shared pool resolves the issue temporarily.
