ORA-55624 When Trying To Re-enable Flashback Data Archive on a Table After Performing DLL on the Table (Doc ID 1100467.1)

Symptoms

Using Flashback Data Archive

Disabled Flashback Archiving on a table then performed a DDL on the table, ie adding a constraint or a new table.

When trying to to re-enable Flashback Archive, the following error is reported:

"ORA-55624: The table "<username>"."<table_name>" cannot be enabled for Flashback Archive at this point" .

Attempt to re-enable the Flashback Archive after 24-48 hours succeed

Changes

Using client release prior to 11.2, such as sqlplus release 10.2.0.4 or 11.1.0.7
