Creating a DSN With SQLConfigDataSource Erroneously Returns FALSE or 0 Using the 11.2 ODBC driver (Doc ID 1105686.1)

Symptoms

Attempting to create a DSN with the ODBC API function SQLConfigDataSource erroneously returns false or 0  but the DSN is created successfully. The following error message is returned after calling the error handling routine based on the return value of false or 0.

“Driver's ConfigDSN, ConfigDriver, or ConfigTranslator failed”


Changes

Upgraded the Oracle ODBC driver and Client to 11.2
