ORA-600 [18110] Error On Killing A Session (Doc ID 1107584.1)

Symptoms

After killing a session using ALTER SYSTEM KILL SESSION an ORA-600 [18110] error occurs, e.g.:

ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [18110], [0x8E722BCC], [2], [20], [], [], [], []


Subsequently PMON may crash with an ORA-600 [18123] error crashing the database.
The call stack will resemble:
