Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version and later
Information in this document applies to any platform.

In fresh database, the error ORA-07445 [jox00_call_loader()+4472] received when running statements which reference the package dbms_java.

The call stack is similar to:
jox00_call_loader <- joxlod_ <- joxldn_ <- ed <- kqlplslod <- kqllod <- kglobld <- kglobpn <- kglpim <- ioc_access_IU ...

The steps to create the database were basic:
- install software
- upgrade to
- create the database

The Java components appear VALID in the dictionary.

Trying to reload JVM according to <> 'How to Reload the JVM in 10.1.0.X and 10.2.0.X' fails with the same error when running catnoexf.sql:
SQL> drop user exfsys cascade;
drop user exfsys cascade
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-03113: end-of-file on communication channel
This time the failure, with the same call stack, can appear for 'drop java resource "EXFSYS"."META-INF/MANIFEST.MF"'
Trying to remove EXFSYS as described in <> 'How To Install and Uninstall Expression Filter' also does not improve the situation.
