Symptoms


This error occurred when running utlrp during the Post Upgrade steps of 11.1 -> 11.2.

The alert log shows:

Errors in file /opt/oracle/product/diag/rdbms/xxxx/XXXX/trace/XXXX_ora_29506.trc (incident=59099):
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kqlidchg1], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], [], []
ORA-00604: error occurred at recursive SQL level 2
ORA-00001: unique constraint (SYS.I_PLSCOPE_SIG_IDENTIFIER$) violated
Incident details in: /opt/oracle/product/diag/rdbms/xxxx/XXXX/incident/incdir_59099/XXXX_ora_29506_i59099.trc

 The post upgrade log shows these messages:

The trace file shows this failing statement:

ALTER PACKAGE "<SCHEMA>"."<PACKAGE NAME>" COMPILE BODY REUSE SETTINGS


The call stack in the trace file written by the error contains all or some of the following functions:

ksupop <- opiodr <- rpidrus <- skgmstack <- rpidru <- rpiswu2
rpidrv <- rpisplu <- $cold_kqlvld <- kglgob

 

Changes

These errors occur after running the upgrade successfully, while running utlrp.sql the post upgrade step.
It can be reproduced by running utlrp.sql directly.
