Lsnrctl start appears to work but issuing lsnrctl commands against same running listener yields the following stack:
Copyright (c) 1991, 2009, Oracle. All rights reserved.
Connecting to (DESCRIPTION=(ADDRESS=(PROTOCOL=TCP)(HOST=myhost)(PORT=1521))
TNS-12543: TNS:destination host unreachable
TNS-12560: TNS:protocol adapter error
TNS-00513: Destination host unreachable
Solaris Error: 128: Network is unreachable
Truss of lsnrctl status yields:
4200: close(6) = 0
4200: getsockopt(6, SOL_SOCKET, SO_SNDBUF, 0xFFFFFFFF7FFF5EB4, 0xFFFFFFFF7FFF62BC, SOV_DEFAULT) Err#9 EBADF
4200: getsockopt(6, SOL_SOCKET, SO_RCVBUF, 0xFFFFFFFF7FFF5EB4, 0xFFFFFFFF7FFF62BC, SOV_DEFAULT) Err#9 EBADF
This is a new installation of 11gR2. No changes have taken place except installation.
