Symptoms

Using Oracle 11.2.0.1, encountering the following error in the alert.log:
ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [upduaw()+3019]

Environment Details:
PeopleTools 8.50.06
Application: HRMS9 Bundle 16
Database: 11.2.0.1 standalone database on Linux
          11.2.0.1 client

Error occurs when running this statement:

UPDATE TEST SET COL1= :1
WHERE COL2 = :2 AND COL3 :3 AND COL4 = :4 COL5 = :5
AND COL6 = :6

Initial Workaround:
Rebuilding the indexes associated with the table TEST... however, this ceased to work after a while.
