Purpose
When displaying the privileges included in RESOURCE role from DBA_SYS_PRIVS, the UNLIMITED TABLESPACE privilege does not appear, though when granting this role to a user, the user automatically gets UNLIMITED TABLESPACE privilege. The list displayed from DBA_SYS_PRIVS can be misleading when you need to know which system privileges a user owns when being granted the RESOURCE role.

The audience for this document is intended to be DBAs and software developers.
