Symptoms
- Gathering statistics for a table partition using dbms_stats.gather_table_stats, the following error may occur, but it is not always reproducible:
- Problem only reproduces when truncating a partition and gather statistics for different partitions concurrently (ie: truncating partition 2 and gathering statistics for partition 1).
- Gathering partition statistics fails with the error mentioned. If same gather partition stats is repeated, it completes successfully.
