Symptoms

When trying to create a database using DBCA on 11.2, we may receive the following error message:

Oracle Restart enabled database creation requires Default listener configured and running in Grid Infrastructure home. Use NETCA in Grid Infrastructure home - "/u01/app/oracle/product/11.2.0/grid" to configure a listener before proceeding.

If we verify with lsnrctl utility, we have a listener running from the Grid home, but it is either on a different port than 1521, or it has a different name than LISTENER.
