Goal


THIS IS NOT AN ORACLE PRODUCT.  SERVICE REQUESTS CANNOT BE RAISED ON QUESTIONS OR PROBLEMS WITH THIS SCRIPT.  THIS SCRIPT WAS CREATED AS A PERSONAL SIDE-PROJECT AND IS PROVIDED TO CUSTOMERS AS-IS.  SERVICE REQUESTS CANNOT BE LOGGED REGARDING THIS SCRIPT.


Export TNS entries stored in Oracle Internet Directory into a working tnsnames.ora file.

This script will gather every TNS entry stored in OID.  If only a subset is needed,  the -b flag can be used to specify a base, or a text editor can quickly remove or keep various entries.
