Symptoms
- Installed RDBMS software release 10.2.0.x or higher but below 11.2.0.2 (where this issue is fixed) on HP ia64 box.
- When trying to start the database the following different errors can be encountered:
Case A (trying to use a flashback database):
Depending on the operations, it could be that a different, but similar issue was reported.
Changes
Some kind of administrative task, related to NFS, was done in the database, like:
- Start a Flashback database from NFS location.
- A new datafile or new Redo group could be created in an NFS location.
