Symptoms


Installing any Oracle Gateway on a Unix or Windows platform  results in the following Java errors -


Exception in thread "PrepareInvTreeThread" java.lang.NullPointerException
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiif.oiifm.OiifmGraphicPageHandler.onView(OiifmGraphicPageHandler.java:817)
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiif.oiifw.OiifwWizDialog.onViewPrivate(OiifwWizDialog.java:890)
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiif.oiifw.OiifwWizDialog.access$000(OiifwWizDialog.java:337)
at oracle.sysman.oii.oiif.oiifw.OiifwWizDialog$PrepareInventoryTree.run(OiifwWizDialog.java:1794)
at java.lang.Thread.run(Thread.java:595)
