Expdp With Transportable Tablespace Is Very Slow Compared To Exp (Doc ID 1225863.1)

Symptoms

With more objects in exporting tablespaces, expdp with transportable tablespace option is taking more time compared to normal exp.

The expdp is taking more time at checkPluggable stage as seen from the trace file.

Changes

Database was upgraded from 9i to 10.2.0.4.  Started using expdp for tansportable tablespace instead of normal exp.
