Exadata V2/X2: infinicheck Script Throws Bad Infiniband Throughput Warnings For Single Compute Node
(Doc ID 1230243.1)
Last updated on MARCH 09, 2019
Applies to:
Oracle Exadata Storage Server Software - Version 11.1.0.3.0 to 11.2.1.2.1 [Release 11.1 to 11.2]Information in this document applies to any platform.
Symptoms
During the run of ./infinicheck against single compute node we may see following warnings.
The pattern/warnings are taken from Exadata Full RAC for the run of:
1) “./infinicheck -b -g dbips.ora -c cellip.ora” where dbips.ora has an entry for single compute node (Example: IP addr: 192.168.10.25) and cellip.ora is contains the list of all storage cells. OR
2) “./infinicheck –g compute_node1” OR
3) “./infinicheck –g compute_node1 -c cellip.ora” where compute_node1 is internally aliased to IP address 192.168.10.25.
