Symptoms

An ODBC application experiences slow performance or a performance decrease as the queries issued from the application are taking much longer to execute against an 11gR1 or later database compared to a 10gR2 or earlier database.  The ODBC application and Oracle Client Software have not changed.

Changes

The database was recently upgraded to 11gR1.
