Symptoms


Using 10.2 HSODBC to select from SQL*Server with an Oracle RDBMS 11.1 using characterset JA16EUC the tilde character '~' can be displayed successfully using SQLPLUS
After moving to RDBMS 11.2 with the character set JA16EUCTILDE and DG4MSQL 11.2 the tilde character cannot be displayed correctly and displays as a question mark '?' in SQLPLUS.
Other characters can be displayed correctly.
