You are running SQLPLUS or PAYROLL or other Oracle code and you encounter an ORA-600 [SOREOD_1] error.

Symptoms

You will see the following error message in your alert log:
ORA-600 [SOREOD_1]

If you examine the related trace file, you may see some or all of the following function codes listed in the "Stack Trace" portion of the file:

sorput kxibPut kauxsin insidx inserr insdrv insexe ...

Changes

You may have started running your code in parallel or you were running the PAYROLL application or this may occur during day to day operations.
