Symptoms

DB Crashed with the following errors reported in the alert log:

ORA-00060: deadlock detected while waiting for resource

ORA-1092 : opiodr aborting process unknown ospid (15529_47191464852672)
Fri Oct 01 00:19:50 2010
ORA-1092 : opitsk aborting process
Instance terminated by SMON, pid = 4015
