Symptoms
A SELECT statement, which includes Oracle functions, issued from a 10.2.0.5 Oracle Server using the DG4DRDA 11.1.0.7 gateway to a DB2 database running on an AS/400 fails with the following error -
ORA-28500: connection from ORACLE to a non-Oracle system returned this message:
