Symptoms

The following error is seen in the alert log:
     ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kxspoac()+872]
     [SIGBUS] [unknown code] [0x000000000] [] []

The call stack can look like this:
     kxspoac opibnd0 opibnd opibrp opiall0 opial7 opiodr

The cursor_sharing parameter is NOT set to a value of 'EXACT.'

The failing SQL includes bind variables.
