Goal
Receiving the following errors, and go to change the nfile kernel parameter on system and find it has been deprecated and is no longer tunable. ( nfile - maximum number of open files (system-wide) )
ORA-00313: open failed for members of log group 1 of thread 1
ORA-00312: online log 1 thread 1: '/path/redo_01.log'
ORA-27041: unable to open file
HPUX-ia64 Error: 23: File table overflow
