Symptoms
There are multiple capture processes in the database. One is current , however another has aborted and has been inactive for a time greater than the checkpoint_retention_time configured for both processes.
When restarting the active capture process , it restarted from an unexpectedly old archive log file; it reprocessed logs already processed.
