Ipconf -verify -semantic fails

Symptoms

1. The following message has been alerted and the alert message suggests that "/usr/local/bin/ipconf -verify -semantic" should be running.


"Cell configuration check discovered the following problems:
Check Exadata configuration via ipconf utility Checking NTP server on 208.247.100.59: FAILED
Checking NTP server on 208.247.100.67 : FAILED
ILOM Gateway is inside network FAILED
Error. main::validate_config(ipconf.pl:1385): Overall status for config verification: FAILED
[INFO] As root user run /usr/local/bin/ipconf -verify -semantic to verify consistent network configurations.
[INFO] Verify all NTP and DNS serve rs are available."



2. The suggested command errors out but it runs successfully without  "-semantic" option.
