Deinstall 11.2 32-bit Home Inadvertanly Removes 64-bit Homes and Vice Versa (Doc ID 1271661.1)

Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 11.2.0.1 to 11.2.0.2 [Release 11.2]
Oracle Database - Enterprise Edition - Version 12.2.0.1 to 12.2.0.1 [Release 12.2]
Microsoft Windows x64 (64-bit)

Symptoms

Run the deinstall utility to remove an 11.2 32bit Home.
After the deinstall is complete you notice that  other 64bit Oracle Homes (or files) have been removed.

This can also happen to 32bit Homes when a 64bit Home has been deinstalled.
