- During Grid Infrastructure upgrade 18.104.22.168 to 22.214.171.124, running rootupgrade.sh on the first node may fail. ASM alert log shows:
ORA-04031: unable to allocate 760 bytes of shared memory ("shared pool","unknown object","KKSSP^3","kglss")
- The rootupgrade.sh script exits stating that the ASM resource can't be started:
Start of resource "ora.asm" failed
- The other nodes are still running 126.96.36.199 components.
- The OUI is still waiting for confirmation that rootupgrade.sh has been run on all nodes.
