Information in this document applies to any platform.

Symptoms

After upgrade the database to 10.2.0.5 version while executing various OWB mappings
the following error occurs.

ERROR
-----------------------
ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P001
ORA-44201: cursor needs to be reparsed

STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will when some mappings are executed.
Until now executing the statement from SQLPlus didn't reproduced the issue.

WORKAROUND
------------------------
It was tried disabling of the parallel processing and got no errors.
Following alter session statements were used:

ALTER SESSION DISABLE PARALLEL DML ;
ALTER SESSION DISABLE PARALLEL QUERY;

 Due to very performance implications the above may not be a feasible option.
