ORA-24550 returned with Memory Corruption after Upgrading Precompiler Application to 11g (Doc ID 1285154.1)

Symptoms

After upgrading to 11.2.0.1, a Pro*C++ application now fails with error:

ORA-24550: signal received: [si_signo=7] [si_errno=0] [si_code=128]

The strack trace looks like:


Other stack traces reported with this error are:

1. sqlnst <-- sqlcmex <-- sqlcxt <-- test1

2. kpugattr <-- OCIAttrGet <-- sqlnst <-- sqlcmex <-- sqlcxt <-- test1

3. sqlcln <-- sqlcmex <-- sqlcxt <-- test1

Changes

This code worked before in earlier versions of Oracle Precompilers. This occurred after upgrading to 11g.
