User Account Lockout Doesn't Work When EUS Configured with OVD 11g to Sun DS

Symptoms
- Configured EUS using OVD with Sun Directory Server as the backend LDAP Server
- Users are getting authenticated to database successfully. But User Account lockout feature doesn't work as expected.
- The user gets locked in SUN DS but it still allows the user to connect to the database.
- An ldapbind against SUN DS fails with the following error
ldap_bind: additional info: Exceed password retry limit. Account locked.
But, it is still possible to connect to the Database with the same user credentials
