Spatial Query Fails With ORA-7445 [kghufree()]/[kghuclientasp()] & ORA-13236, ORA-29400 Errors (Doc ID 1291495.1)

You encounter the following errors when executing a spatial data query:

Resource Manager plans may be being used.

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kghufree()+1706] [SIGSEGV] [unknown code] [0x000000000] [] []
ORA-13236: internal error in R-tree processing: [Snapshot too old or Recursive fetch error]
ORA-13234: failed to access R-tree-index table [MDRT Table]
ORA-29400: data cartridge error

These can then be followed by another error such as:

ORA-01555: snapshot too old: rollback segment number 13 with name "_SYSSMU13$" too small


ORA-02393: exceeded call limit on CPU usage

The initial error can also be one of the following:

ORA-07445: exception encountered: core dump [kghuclientasp()+227]
ORA-00600: internal error code, arguments: [kghufree_04]

The call stack will resemble the following:

... kghufree kohfrem kohfrr kpmfree OCIMemoryFree mdrtfree mdrtpq mdrtft mdidxf qeroifcf ...
