Symptoms

CREATE MVIEW with ON PREBUILT TABLE option on IOT TABLE fails with ORA-12082

The same script works in 10.2.0.5 and 11.2.0.1.
Not working in 11.2.0.2

Testcase:


SQL> CREATE TABLE TEST_TABLE (CHCOL VARCHAR2(50), PRIMARY KEY (CHCOL));

Table created.

SQL> CREATE TABLE TEST_IOT (CHCOL VARCHAR2(50), "COUNT(*)" NUMBER, PRIMARY KEY (CHCOL)) ORGANIZATION INDEX;

Table created.

SQL> CREATE MATERIALIZED VIEW TEST_IOT ON PREBUILT TABLE AS SELECT CHCOL, COUNT(*) FROM TEST_TABLE GROUP BY CHCOL;
*
ERROR at line 1:
ORA-12082: "<schema_name>"."TEST_IOT" cannot be index organized
