Symptoms
A user created a table with 890 columns of which 260 are CLOB's.
There are hundreds of thousands of rows.
The table is multiple GB in size
The average row length times the number of rows is 500+MB
Performance improves after Export / Import, but the performance degrades after several thousand rows are added.
