When attempting to connect remotely as sysdba an ORA-1031 error is encountered:




STEPS

The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Configure the Password file
2. Check that the local connection works fine : sqlplus sys/manager as sysdba
3. run sqlplus sys/manager@TNS as sysdba
