Raised A Lot Of Parallel Slave Sessions Once Upgraded On 10.2.0.5 Release (Doc ID 1299489.1)

Symptoms

After upgraded to 10.2.0.5 release, then many parallel slave sessions are
with status ACTIVE for each connected user, and it needs to set
parallel_max_servers=0 in order to get a single session for connected user.
Otherwise, if setting parallel_max_servers=2560, then the first connected
user raised >2500 parallel sessions.

DIAGNOSTIC ANALYSIS:
--------------------

SQL> select count(*) from v$session where username = 'IBS';

COUNT(*)
----------
321

SQL> select program, count(*) from v$process where regexp_like(program,
'\(P[0-9]{3}\)$')
group by program having count(*) > 1
order by program;

no rows selected
