Symptoms
Pro*C application is raising an ORA-00979 during execution of a group by clause contained within a complex query.
The issue does not manifest in pure SQL run stand-alone due to the binding properties involved.
Changes
The error occurs after migrating the application from 9i to 11.2, and was determined to reproduce in only 11.2 environment(s).
