Symptoms

Management Server (MS) on the storage cell generates ms.core.MSAdrAlertTimerTask notifications every minute. This issue can be seen in Exadata cell software version 11.2.2.2.0 or earlier.

Notifications get logged to the MS log and because they come every minute, they flood that log file.

The MS log file $ADR_BASE/diag/asm/cell/<server name>/trace/ms-odl.log entries look like this:
[<date and time>] [ossmgmt] [NOTIFICATION] [] [ms.core.MSAdrAlertTimerTask] [tid: 14] [ecid: <cell public IP>:31671:1296205559861:5,0] AdrAlertTimerTask - add alert, starttime - 1296206222249 timenow - 1296813648574
