EXPDP Gives ORA-39125: Worker Unexpected Fatal Error When Attempting To Exclude Jobs In Parfile

Symptoms


When using 10.2.x expdp (datapump export) to do a full export, the export fails after adding the following parameter to the .par file.

exclude=job:"in ('OPS$COMMON','OPS$ORACLE', ...)"



The errors displayed by expdp are the following:

ORA-39125: Worker unexpected fatal error in KUPW$WORKER.CONFIGURE_METADATA_UNLOAD while calling DBMS_METADATA.SET_FILTER [ESTIMATE_PHASE]
ORA-31600: invalid input value EXCLUDE_NAME_EXPR for parameter NAME in function SET_FILTER
