Symptoms

You may see a combination of multiple errors similar to the following:

ORA-600[kcbrls_2]
ORA-600[kcbgcur_1]
ORA-600[25026]

While these errors can all point to an issue in the database buffer cache, you may have tried to flush the buffer cache but the errors return.

SQL> alter system flush buffer_cache;

When analyzing/validating the affected table(s), you find an error (e.g. ORA-1498 or ORA-1499) reported during the analyze command indicating corruption.

SQL> analyze table <owner>.<table_name> validate structure cascade;
