Information in this document applies to any platform.
While testing the upgrade from 10.2 to 11.2, a database has been upgraded to 11.2 using the Database Upgrade Assistant (DBUA) and later restored from backup.
When trying to upgrade the 10.2 database again using DBUA, the database is missing from the list of candidate databases to be upgraded (or reports that the database is running from the 11.2 home)
1. This occurs even though the ORACLE_HOME for the database is pointing to the 10.2 home in /etc/oratab or /var/opt/oracle/oratab
2. 11.2 DBCA includes the database in a list of 11.2 databases that it can configure
