Disabled Anonymous Binding on Active Directory 2003 or Higher Releases (Doc ID 1305682.1)

Symptoms

On : 2.3.0.2036 version, attempting to authenticate against Active Directory 2003 or higher results in the following error:

ERROR
-----------------------
U0010 The username and password combination was not found.


STEPS
-----------------------
The issue can be reproduced at will with the following steps:
1. Set the LDAP Configuration settings up to correct values (can be verified by ldapsearch or other LDAP client).
2. Set the MEM user account to use LDAP authentication.
3. Attempt to login to MEM using the LDAP account.

BUSINESS IMPACT
-----------------------
The issue has the following business impact:
Due to this issue, the user cannot use the advantages of LDAP to manage central accounts and is instead required to manually manage accounts directly in MEM.

Changes

Operating system must be Windows 2003 or higher.
