Flash Disks may report 'Not Present' or 'Poor Performance' after FDOM/Flash Disk Replacement

The instructions of this document are only relevant to older models like Oracle Storage Servers V2 and X2 and also older images.
For configurations in Oracle Storage Servers using Aura Cards (X3, X4), when one of the FDMOs fails, the Oracle Exadata Storage Software will mark the other FDOMs (peers) on the same card as FAILED.
If cell is in WriteBack mode, it will flush the content to the cached griddisks.
Alerts will be generated when the card is ready to be replaced.
Symptoms
As a result of a Flash Disk or FDOM Hardware replacement in Exadata Storage Server the status of flash disks after replacement may report a status of "Not Present" or "Poor Performance"
