Symptoms


While installing the 10.2.0.4 patch set, a popup warning appears and states that you are attempting
to apply this patch set against a non-empty directory.  This is not a message you should get when
installing a patch set against a 10.2.0.2 Oracle home.

Warning

OUI-10030: You have specified a non-empty directory to install this product.
It is recommended to specify either an empty or non-existent directory...


Changes

The central inventory for a 10.2.0.2 RDBMS home was deleted in error.
