Purpose
Tips and techniques for troubleshooting issues encountered during RMAN restore when using the media management layer (MML).
After reading this note, if you are still not sure how to resolve the issue, please refer the problem to your media management vendor support team. All ORA-19511 are indications of media management issues and can be resolved by the vendor. Media management vendors are also responsible for certifying the software against Oracle.
